When you advertise your instrument you need to write a good advert to encourage the potential buyer to contact you. But too often people put little effort into constructing a good advert which makes a hugh diference between actually selling you goods and not.

Try to keep in mind the old marketing sales aid AIDA (Attention, Interest, Desire, Action) when forming you advertisement.
Make sure your telephone numbers, mobile, home, work and email make it easy for the buyer to buy.
Also make sure the text is very descriptive and detailed.
Photos should be looking at parts of the instrument as you would examine to buy in a shop, so for example if it where of a guitar the photos showing should be close ups of the neck, pickups, body, and back with a long full instrument shot as well
