Description / condition = Beautiful instrument in
perfect condition, serviced regularly, last serviced
less than a year ago. English (thumbplate) model,
ideal for advanced student or professional player.
Played semi-professionally and much loved and extremely
reliable. Selling as I'm getting a Howarth XL oboe
in cocobolo wood, reluctant to see it go but need
the money. Includes Howarth hard case and bag with
shoulder strap. List price for these instruments
new is £4995. Any reasonable offer considered.

This Bassoon is a fantastic instrument. It is made
by Puchner which, along with Heckel, is widely considered
as one of the two top makers of Bassoon.
This particular instrument served me very well throughout
my time as a Bassoon student and supported me during
my studies at the Royal Academy of Music.
It is a Model 22 which is one down from the professional
model, 23 ,which makes this ideal for a student or
semi-professional.
The Bassoon has a beautiful warm, sonorous tone and
perfectly displays the rich Germanic tones favoured
by a lot of Bassoonists.
This model has been overhauled by London's specialist
woodwind shop and is in great condition.
